Oh Poi!

"Oh Poi!"

I LOVE taking delayed exposure shots of light paths - especially fire. I was at a party in Amherst one night when these guys whipped out their flaming weapons... wow, that sounds super dirty... but seriously, they had poi, and a couple staffs that they lit on fire and did a little show with. This photo - despite it's title - is actually of one of the staffs. I just love how you can see the green grass below him, and ghosts of his body as he came to rest in that position for just a little bit longer than the rest of them.
