I am particular in tune with the splatter effect, originally widely-recognized about Jackson Polluck's style. I think that is the fact that it makes very detailed lines, spawning from an abject chaos of paint everywhere. I have been playing with ways to control it and create form with it, and should have a few new paintings soon in that vein. For the most part, my paintings are Acrylic paint on stretched canvas - though, I do also sometimes use artboard, wood, glass and various other surfaces, and only occasionally do I use oil or enamel based paints (I'm lazy - they're too hard to clean).
